Featuring the Blue Angels - The United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron
The United States Navy Blue Angels first performed at air shows in 1946. They are the oldest flying aerobatic team currently
performing in the United States. The team is made up of six pilots that fly F/A-18 Hornets in which they compete with in roughly
70 shows during a season. Witness some of the most amazing flying and aerobatic skills ever displayed in our DVD!
The mission of the Blue Angels is to enhance Navy and Marine corps recruiting efforts and to represent the naval services
to the United States, its elected leadership, and foreign nations. View the Blue Angels team promoting its mission in several

Forrest Sherman Field Naval Air Statioin during the air show season. The rest of the time they can be found practicing and
training new members at the Naval Air Facility in El Centro, CA.
Fat Albert Airlines is a Lockheed-Martin C-130T
Hercules and a must see at airshows nationwide. Fat Albert joined the team in 1970 and is essential in transportation of important
personnel and supplies that make the Blue Angels air shows so entertaining. During select shows Fat Albert may demonstrate
its jet-assisted takeoff capability. Watch eight solid-fuel rocket bottles thrust the hercules to the air. When fired all
at once Fat Albert can take off within 1500 feet, climb at a 45 degree angle, and propel to an altitude of 1,000 feet in about
15 seconds. Sounds like a must see...and we have it on video!
